Blending ancient wisdom and modern science, I offer a unique path to addiction recovery born from personal transformation.
My personal journey led me to the point of embracing holistic healing – where ancient wisdom meets cutting-edge science. My work isn’t just about treating symptoms; it’s about restoring harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
This isn’t your typical approach to addiction recovery.
It’s personal, it’s unique, it’s energetic, and – most importantly – it works.
What might surprise you is that I’ve walked this path myself. After seven rehab programmes and countless battles with alcoholism, I stand here with a deeper understanding of what it takes to overcome.
In 2008, after my last stint in rehab, I found myself in central London, overcome with dread. My life was unravelling – divorce loomed, a drunk driving charge hung over me, and the relationships I cherished had crumbled.
It wasn’t the first time I’d tried to get clean, but this time, I faced the truth: something had to change.
The roots of my addiction trace back to my childhood, to long-held feelings of isolation and anxiety. I remember it vividly - the ache in my little finger that started the very first time I stepped into my new middle school in Leeds.
I was the only black child in a sea of white faces, the square peg in a round hole. From day one, I was the outsider, navigating a daily barrage of verbal and physical abuse. Every moment from when I left home until I returned was spent in a state of high alert.
I didn’t fit in.
My name became the butt of jokes, and I felt deeply ashamed - not just of my name, but of my skin, of who I was. I simply didn’t want to be me. I never felt good enough, worthy enough, or pretty enough.
I tried everything to fix myself - throwing myself into schoolwork and sports, striving for perfection, and hoping desperately for validation from others. But no accolade could fill that void. In the end, I followed the path expected of me, pursuing a career in medicine to make my family proud.
Can you relate?
Have you ever felt like the other in a room? Maybe it was because of how you looked, how you talked, or where you came from. Being different can strip you of your confidence and leave you feeling disconnected.
For me, it led to addiction.
I tried to bend myself into impossible shapes - being the perfect wife, mother, and friend - while hiding the internal wreckage. Even my medical training couldn’t save me.
But here’s my truth: I carry no shame.
I’ve learned that survival doesn’t require perfection, only resilience. I’m living proof that you can be bigger than your addiction.
After my last rehab, something shifted because a friend recommended I see a Shaman—an idea that flew in the face of everything I knew as a doctor.
However, when you’re desperate, you open doors you might otherwise leave closed. I took a leap of faith, and it changed everything. That first session with the Shaman brought me peace and a deep knowing that everything was going to be okay. It was the first time in years I felt truly safe. That experience opened my eyes to ancient healing methods—practices I had once dismissed as woo-woo.
And guess what? The science backed it up.
I began to see how science and spirituality could work together to treat addiction in a way that was deeper and more effective than anything I’d encountered before. This integration became the cornerstone of my recovery and the foundation of the work I now do with clients.
My approach isn’t just about getting sober; it’s about realigning your energy, rediscovering who you are, and reconnecting with the world in a lasting, meaningful way.
I believe addiction is an energetic disorder—a disruption in the body’s natural balance. My work helps restore that balance, offering an individualised path to recovery that taps into your unique energetic blueprint.
My credentials reflect the breadth of my holistic approach. I am a certified sober coach, food addiction counsellor, Reiki master, advanced crystal healing practitioner, Future Life practitioner, and bioelectromagnetic medicine therapist.
Every qualification serves a purpose in my work, allowing me to craft a bespoke healing experience tailored to each individual. This belief in the transformative power of integrated healing is something I live by daily, both in my own recovery and in my dedication to helping others.
I’ve been fortunate to help clients from all walks of life—peers, Hollywood film and theatre directors, HNW/UHNW individuals, and even Emmy Award winners.
My work has been recognised with multiple awards, including the prestigious Platinum Award for Holistic Therapy in 2023. But for me, it’s never about the accolades; it’s about the lives transformed.
Recovery is more than just quitting; it’s about finding those lost pieces of yourself, putting them back together, and living in alignment with your true self.
It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve tried before. This will be the last rehab programme you will ever need.
